Triggers to recast sanctuary while wearing Mist of Blood

Monday, 28 August 2023 by Zensch

Purpose:
Recast Sanctuary before it ends, so it will be continuous despite not having aura of sanctuary/being in fight.
The only dangerous (and very rare) situation is when your sanctuary is dispelled by mobs/players. In this case you’d need to wear item / recasting will be handled by your spell-up plugin.

Requires:

Combat End plugin
https://github.com/udequina/aardwolf-plugins/blob/main/loqui/Nok3_Combat_End.xml

You can modify it to add your end of combat message, e.g. replace “Your_text” with your message when combat ends.
function CombatEnd()
inCombat = false

if (reportCombatEnd) then
Simulate(“Your_text”)
end
end

Access to spells: sanctuary, disruption (practised to 100%)

Triggers 1-3 should be send to script. Make sure options “enabled” and “regular expression” are checked.

1) Trigger 1 – after first/any cast of sanctuary add timer (below 15 mins, modify as required) and variable to do not disrupt sanctuary yet.
Regex: ^You are surrounded by a shimmering white aura of divine protection.$
Body:

require “gmcphelper”
lvl = tonumber(gmcp(“char.base.level”))

SetVariable(“sanctcheck”, “no”)
if lvl == 201 then
DeleteTimer(“sanctuary_check”)
AddTimer(“sanctuary_check”, 0, 15, 0, “c disrupt sanctuary”, timer_flag.Enabled + timer_flag.OneShot, “”)
end

2) Trigger 2 – after combat cast disrupt
Regex: same as you set above replacing “Your text”
Body:
if sanct_status == “yes” then
SendNoEcho(“c disrupt sanctuary”)
end

3) Trigger 3 – During fight add variable that when fight is done disrupt should be cast.
Regex: ^You can’t concentrate enough to cast ‘disrupt’.$
Body: SetVariable(“sanctcheck”, “yes”)

4) Trigger 4 – in case of failed disruption (but not failed casting of disruption). Please note this trigger is send to world.
Regex: ^You need to be more disruptive. The sanctuary is still there!$
Body: c disrupt sanctuary

    2. Try to move in and out from the first room (both teams).

        Chairman Ekima glances over the test…
        Chairman Ekima gasps in astonishment.
        Chairman Ekima says ‘But this is amazing! I never would’ve expected such’

  14. Genie, OC and Winds
    1. Can be tricky, as you need to explore all rooms in the first part (maze like)
    2. As area repops are long and you are not afraid of dying you can try ‘wfa’, note room id and exits.
    3. Go to one exits, mark room id.
    4. Repeat steps 2-3 when all rooms in the maze were done.
  15. Inferno
    1. One room has no visible entrance – it is in part when usually group have a break – in the centre room open up/up.
  16. Trans
    1. One extra room can be explored during trans1 run – tell leader you would like to enter forge and you want to know passwords.
    2. Another room can be accessed when trans1 run is almost done. Instead saying ‘ready’ to Kaislinn, tell Kaislinn I can pursue (which is part of trans2 goal) and move to any room.
      1. Halls of the lost is a maze and can take long time to find all the rooms.
  17. Shadow’s End
    1. Nothing special here – you need to complete Goal as player2/3 in the maze part. https://aardwolfboot.com/shadows-end/
  18. Terra and Titan
    1. You need to explore fully Titan L3 (maze’ish).
    2. Also take part in (many) terra/titan epics to be transferred to bosses areas.
    3. For both terra/titan there is one boss that has 2 areas: one tank only fight boss, while other group doing something else. You need complete both.
  19. BCC
    1. Kind of AQ to get to the last room & kill mob holding a jagged shard (potentially best weapon in the game when nice bloot)
    2. Find mist in black claw crag
    3. Enter mist
    4. Touch crystal (if not responding – maybe someone else doing AQ or just completed – should be ready to use after repop)
    5. The AQ / game is the following.
      1. Axaldra (dragon mama) will spawn after few seconds with message where she is (WNES).
      2. Directions here means 3 rooms, e.g. W are 3 rooms NW, W and NS.
      3. When Axaldra is in that direction will hit players for 25-50k every 1-2 seconds.
      4. She moves using clockwise directions: WNES-WNES-WNES…
      5. Your task is to kill mobs in the ‘centre’ rooms (e.g. for west side W room, not corners NW and NS).
      6. To do so best practice is to focus on one side: if Axaldra is currently on W side, wait at S, when she moves to N and W side is safe to enter, go there to middle room and damage as much as possible whelp till Axaldra will be south.
      7. Then escape via north, go east and south side (when safe to enter) and repeat step 6.
      8. Do this with other whelps.
      9. Note, that when Axaldra is in a room whelps get their health restored (about 20-30% of their total hp) – this is threshold for your minimum damage to pass. If you barely damage whelpsome (more or less) to 25% and Axaldra heal it by 30%, then you would need 20 “rounds” per whelp to kill it. Times 4 whelp – 80 rounds. Which can be over 1 hr. Best players can do this AQ under 5 minutes, killing whelps in 2 rounds.
      10. After killing 4 whelps in W, N, E and S you will be transported to last room with mortally wounded warrior. He’s easy pray – kill him to get shard – drop like any normal item in the game. And because it takes some time to complete this AQ don’t expect getting nice shard soon.
      11. Some consideration: retreat is a must, dampening field is a must, some hp is needed, melee classes are crap here, you need to have good damage.
  20. Sea King dominion
    1. Get/buy/”borrow” Portal (reward for FT2 goal)
    2. say ‘hav’ at King Leodegrace
    3. say ‘meer’ at King’s Treasurer
    4. say ‘mer’ at King’s Wizard
    5. say ‘aibheis’ at King’s Squire
    6. say ‘mare’ at Sea King
    7.  say ‘mar’ at Nighthorse
    8.  say ‘maris’ at Atanua
    9.  say ‘okeanobrutos’ Iamanja
    10.  say ‘da-hai’ at Ina
    11.  say ‘enkai’ at Gwaten
    12.  say ‘blq’ at Kadlu
    13.  say ‘bahari’ at Vete-Ema
    14.  say ‘lautan’ at Yagis
    15.  say ‘ugh’ at Oceanides
    16.  say ‘samudda’ at Gorgon
    17.  say ‘dari-av’ at Selkie
    18.  say ‘izznarg’ at Naiad
    19.  say ‘glass of water’ at Sea King

The Keep of the Asherodan

Monday, 25 October 2021 by Zensch

Runto Vidblain
Check coordinates: 10, 15
Up

ROOM: 37400
Before the Keep
A towering wall stands here. It is composed of large stone blocks that
form a wall that extends for about 50 yards in each direction before the
walls turn to the north. The wall stretches far up above you, and is topped
with jagged, razor-sharp pieces of metal. The only way into the keep is
through the wooden gate to the north.

[ Exits: (north) down ]

A tall, strange man stands here waiting in the shadows.
Galkorum asks, “Hello my friend. Would you be interested in helping me to release some unjustly imprisoned friends of mine?”

Galkorum says, “If you are willing to help me, then not only will you be freeing those that have been unjustly imprisoned by those sanctimonious keepers, but you would also be able to have access to the items and jewels that these keepers have kept to themselves for millennia.”

Galkorum asks, “So what do you say, are you willing to free some unjustly accused prisoners and make yourself rich at the same time?”

Galkorum asks, “Hello my friend. Would you be interested in helping me to release some unjustly imprisoned friends of mine?”
Galkorum says, “If you are willing to help me, then pay attention to what I say the next time you see me.”

You say ‘yes’
Galkorum exclaims, “Excellent!”

Galkorum says, “Long ago, back when things were more primal and less civilized, the forces of order and chaos lived together in an uneasy balance. There was no good or evil, just whether the powers there wanted everything to exist in an orderly manner or create chaos.”

Galkorum says, “As the disagreement grew more involved, Both sides agreed to create a neutral force that would help to balance the forces of Order and Chaos. They were called the Asherodan, or their more common name, The Keepers of Balance.”

Galkorum says, “They were granted the power to not only imprison those they deemed a threat, but they were also allowed to retain ancient objects of power in order to maintain this balance.”

Galkorum says, “At the same time that the Asherodan were being founded, my friends objected to them. They said that they were too powerful and given enough time, they would become so self-important that they would start to believe that they, and they alone would be worthy of judging who was a threat and what they would need to do in order to contain that threat.”

Galkorum says, “My friends were imprisoned just for opposing them, and their items were taken and stored in their vault. Other items composed of jewels and precious metals were also stored there for their own purposes.”

Galkorum says, “I don’t care about the rest of items. What I want is for you to go down into the deepest part of the keep and free my friends so they can live their lives in peace.”

Galkorum says, “Will you help me to free them? If so say ‘I will help free the prisoners’.”

You say ‘I will help free the prisoners’
Galkorum smiles happily.
Galkorum exclaims, “Thank you!”

Galkorum says, “You should know that the keepers have become greedy about their objects and they are not that trusting of others.”

Galkorum says, “They believe that they should be the sole people to say who should and should not have access to these objects, so you will have to gain their trust before you can proceed.”

Galkorum says, “Before you can get to the keepers, you will first need to gain the trust of their guardians. In order to do that, you will need to ask Moorerry about them.”

Galkorum says, “Also, the vault where they have all their objects stored is protected by four keepers that provide the obelisks with their power and prevent anyone from accessing the vault. You will have to deal with them before you can gain access to there.”
** Goal Added : Free the prisoners of the Asherodan.
Type ‘goals Asherodan’ for full details on this goal.

** Task Added : Free the Prisoners.
** Task Added : Ask Moorerry about the Guardians.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Task 1 : Free the Prisoners.
Galkorum says, “You should know that the keepers have become greedy about
their objects and they are not that trusting of others.”
Galkorum says, “They believe that they should be the sole people to say
who should and should not have access to these objects, so you will have
to gain their trust before you can proceed.”
Galkorum says, “Before you can get to the keepers, you will first need to
gain the trust of their guardians. In order to do that, you will need to
ask Moorerry about them.”
Galkorum says, “Also, the vault where they have all their objects stored
in protected by four keepers that provide the obelisks with their power
and prevent anyone from accessing the vault. You will have to deal with
them before you can gain access to there.”
Task 2 : Ask Moorerry about the Guardians.
Galkorum says, “Before you can get to the keepers, you will first need to
gain the trust of their guardians. In order to do that, you will need to ask
Moorerry about them.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Go NE (ROOM 37404)

Right here you see:
– Moorerry
You see a door to the west.

Auction: Jeri is auctioning (Aarchaeology) A Rusted Coin (Level 1, Num 3). Current bid is 100.
You say ‘yes’
Moorerry exclaims, “Excellent!”
** Task Added : Moorerry’s Request.
Moorerry says, “Unfortunately, I don’t have the key to the back of the keep, so you will need to get the key from the statue first.”
Moorerry says, “Return when you have all of them, and I will tell you about the guardians.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Task 3 : Moorerry’s Request.
Moorerry asks, “So you want to meet the guardians of the keep?”
Moorerry says, “I can help you with them, but first I need you to help me
with something.”
Moorerry says, “My girlfriend wants to help, but she doesn’t have any
basic equipment to wear.”
Moorerry says, “I told her that she can go out back and get some from the
flowers.”
Moorerry says, “She went back there, but then she came back saying that
the plants were behaving strangely.”
Moorerry asks, “Would you be willing to retrieve an item from each plant
there, and then bring them back here?”
Moorerry says, “If you do that, then I will help you with the guardians.”
Moorerry says, “You will need to bring them to me at the same time if you
want me to help you.”
(MOORERRY WILL TAKE THE ITEMS FROM YOU, SO BE SURE TO PUT ANY BONUS
ITEMS YOU WANT TO KEEP IN A CONTAINER BEFORE YOU ENTER THE ROOM.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Go 3WN

Uncommon Sculpture
This small room has a window to the west, and a door to the south. To the
north is a small statue sitting on a pedestal, and a picture of some
sort of gathering is hanging on the east wall.

[ Exits: (south) ] A small, jolly-looking statue sits on a pedestal.

This picture is of a festive gathering of different people. They are all
smiling and happy as they approach and greet each other with open
arms.

(*greet statue)

You smile at a jolly-looking statue and greet it warmly.
The statue smiles warmly at your greeting, and hands you a key.
You receive a brass key from a jolly-looking statue.

Northern Vestibule
The stone sides of the stairs on either side of you combine to form a hallway
leading towards the back of the keep. To the south, the main foyer and other
rooms within the keep can be seen, and to the north is a sturdy door that
leads out of the keep. A small window in the door allows you to see several
kinds of flowers, as well as 4 obelisks that surround a dark, domed, energy
field off to the north.

Run S2EN

You unlock the door with a brass key.
You open the door.

In this part you need to kill different plants to get the following items:

You get a set of gloves made of leaves from the brainwashed corpse of a peony.
You get a violet flower from the traumatized corpse of a violet.
You get a vine belt from the traumatized corpse of a vine.

Then go back to Moorerry.

Moorerry exclaims, “You brought them all!”
Moorerry takes the items from you.

** Task Done : Moorerry’s Request.
Moorerry says, “The guardians were established to protect the keepers from being harmed while they put all their effort into maintaining the dome that keeps the prisoners in there from escaping.”
Moorerry says, “And despite rumors to the contrary, there is no treasure vault down there.”
Moorerry winks suggestively.
Moorerry says, “Anyway…”
Moorerry says, “There are four guardians, and four keepers on the floor farthest up from here.”
Moorerry says, “They don’t trust strangers, so I am sure that you will have to prove to them that you can be trusted.”
Moorerry says, “All you have to do to get to them is take the elevator just west of the stairs.”
** Task Added : Gain the Trust of the Guardians.
** Task Added : Gain the Trust of Johnette.
** Task Added : Gain the Trust of Gordonlaf.
** Task Added : Gain the Trust of Allannia.
** Task Added : Gain the Trust of Greenmoreno.

** Task Done : Ask Moorerry about the Guardians.

—
Task 4 : Gain the Trust of the Guardians.

Moorerry says, “The guardians were established to protect the keepers from
being harmed while they put all their effort into maintaining the dome
that keeps the prisoners in there from escaping.”

Moorerry says, “And despite rumors to the contrary, there is no treasure
vault down there.”

Moorerry winks suggestively.
Moorerry says, “Anyway…”

Moorerry says, “There are four guardians, and four keepers on the floor
farthest up from here.”

Moorerry says, “They don’t trust strangers, so I am sure that you will
have to prove to them that you can be trusted.”

Moorerry says, “All you have to do to get to them is take the elevator
just west of the stairs.”

Task 5 : Gain the Trust of Johnette.

Morrerry says, “You will have to gain the trust if Johnette before you can
visit Saxia.”

Task 6 : Gain the Trust of Gordonlaf.

Morrerry says, “You will have to gain the trust of Gordanlaf before you can
see Rainrnes.”

see Pricephire.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To Elevator – Run 2WNUW from Morrerry
Ancient Elevator
This room is about 10 feet by 10 feet by 10 feet. The floor and ceiling
are made of slats of wood that are joined together to create a
solid-looking structure. The walls are made of similar wood, but there are
gaps between them that lets you see the external walls of the shaft.
There are two buttons near the door labeled ‘2’ and ‘3’, with the one
labeled ‘3’ showing more signs of use than the other one. Below the
buttons is a metal hexagonal socket.
Above the socket and below the buttons is a small glass-covered hole in
the wall. Printed across the glass are the words:
In Case of Emergency, Break the Glass
(break the glass)
As you smash the glass, a note drops from there and falls on the floor.
(read note)
I am tired of fixing this elevator after all of you keep breaking it, so
you will just have to find the crank, and turn it to use the elevator.
I can’t remember exactly where I dropped it, but it was near some of those
plants that don’t have flowers. It probably has been stepped on and buried
by now, so you will have dig around until you find it.
A Creeping Room (ROOM 37414 – N2E from doors to this section)
This part of the garden is covered in vines. The diameter ranges from 1/2
inch on the smaller ones, to 2 inches thick on the larger ones. All of the
vines are covered with leaves of different types, giving them a thick, lush
appearance. A stone wall can be seen to the east, and different species of
flowers can be seen to the north. To the northwest, four obelisks can be seen
surrounding a dome of energy.
(dig)
As you dig around in the soil, you unearth a metal object!
You get a steel crank.
You hold a steel crank in your hand.
Go back to Ancient Elevator.
(turn crank)
You turn the crank several times, and the elevator slowly rises to
the top floor.
You’ll be on the 3rd(?) floor, where you meet other guardians. Say ‘trust’ to them to get another tasks.
ROOM 37428
You say ‘trust’
Johnette asks, “You actually want me to trust you enough to let you see Saxia?”
Johnette smirks at your saying.
Johnette says, “Actually, there is something that you can do for me.”
Johnette says, “We have some unusual felines in some of our cells.”
Johnette exclaims, “Unfortunately, they have been having so many kittens that we are running out of places to put them!”
Johnette says, “If you would be willing to kill 2 of the adult grimalkins, then I will know that you can be trusted.”
Johnette says, “Since we don’t want to harm the kittens, and none of the felines are friendly, you will have to find a way to only kill the adults.”
Johnette says, “Some of the guards have something to help you, and good luck with your task, so remember to return here when you have done what I asked you.”
Johnette says, “All you have to do is enter the dome in the garden to access the prison.”
** Task Added : Cat-tastrophe!
ROOM 37438
ou say ‘trust’
Allannia asks, “You want me to trust you so you can go see Mattheddy?”
Allannia goes, “Hmmmm.”
Allannia says, “Well there is this one thing that we have been trying to accomplish, but the problem is that none of our people who have tried it have came back.”
Allannia asks, “Or should I say that none of those that tried came back in one piece?”
Allannia grins evilly.
Allannia says, “You see, there are some particularly hungry plants in our cells, and we have been trying to get some of their seeds from them.”
Allannia says, “We had a shadow mage try it, and he saw that if you feed them something tainted, then that will weaken them, but then he waited too long, and he ended up feeding the plant in a different way than he planned.”
Allannia says, “If you can retrieve 2 of the seeds and bring them back to me, then I will let you see Mattheddy.”
** Task Added : Seeds of Doubt!
ROOM 37433
You say ‘trust’
Greenmoreno asks, “So you want me to trust you so that you can go see Pricephire?”
Greenmoreno goes, “Hmmmm.”
Greenmoreno says, “Well there is a problem in some of the cells that you can help with.”
Greenmoreno says, “We have some parasites that have infested some of our cells, and they have been quite the problem because they drain the intelligence from their victims, and then the guards have trouble remembering why they were there to start with.”
Greenmoreno says, “If you can kill two of them, then I will trust you enough to let you go see Pricephire.”
Greenmoreno says, “Their tough skin is resistant to anything but wood, so you will need to find a wooden weapon around here to kill them with.”
** Task Added : A Wormy Conundrum!
ROOM: 37436
You say ‘trust’
Gordanlaf asks, “You actually want me to trust you?”
Gordanlaf falls to the ground and rolls around, laughing hysterically.
Gordanlaf says, “Well, we do have a problem in the prison that you can help with, and if you can complete that, then I will let you see Rainrnes.”
Gordanlaf says, “You see, we have a snail problem that we need help with.”
Gordanlaf exclaims, “These snails eject an acidic liquid that can burn through our cell walls and doors. And then they get out and start laying eggs everywhere!”
Gordanlaf says, “The problem is that not only are they large snails, but their shells are very tough, and the only way to make sure they stay dead is to break their shells before you kill them. If you can kill 2 of them, then that would prove to me that you can be trusted to see Rainrnes.”
Gordanlaf says, “The only thing we have found that can damage their shells are their own shells.”
Gordanlaf says, “Here is a tool that you can use to shoot the eggs at the snails.”
You receive a slingshot from Gordanlaf.
Gordanlaf says, “And don’t worry that you might need be a ranger to use this, because anyone can use this slingshot.”
Gordanlaf says, “You can come back and say ‘slingshot’ if you lose yours, and I will give you another one.”
Gordanlaf says, “The only way to enter the prison is to enter the dome in the garden.”
** Task Added : A Slimy Dilemma!
So we have 4 tasks now to do:
1) Cat-tastrophe!
2) Seeds of Doubt!
3) A Wormy Conundrum!
4) A Slimy Dilemma!
Go to one of the obelisks (as an example room 37411) and “Descend stairs”
Then: enter dome
YOu’ll be in the cell area.
To open doors kill guards until you get metallic key.
1) Kill guards to get sauce or give 200 gold guard for sauce next to the room with cats (grimalkin) and ‘drop sauce‘, (make sure to type this completely out) this will make one of the big cats to leave the room. Kill the cat. Repeat. Go back to the requestor to finish the task.
2) Get spoiled ration from elven rangers (section s from the obelisks/close to elevator too).
You get (Spoiled) ration from the hacked corpse of an elven ranger.
You give (Spoiled) ration to a rapacious plant.
You feed the spoiled ration to the rapacious plant!
The rapacious plant greedily eats the ration, and becomes ill from eating it!
After spitting out the remains of the spoiled ration, the rapacious plant
sees that you gave the tainted food to it and attacks!
You get a rapacious plant seed from the traumatized corpse of a rapacious plant.
When you have 2 seeds give them to the requestor
3) Kill 2x entozoon wielding wooden whip.
You shove the spear into the heart of the parasite, killing it!
Greenmoreno says, ‘Well done killing that parasite!’
Greenmoreno says, ‘You have killed the parasites, so
return to where I am at.’
Return to the requestor
4) Kill 2x gastropod
Hold sling, get egg shells (in rooms nearby with guards), then kill gastropod and “shoot gastropod”
Your slingshot scores a direct hit on the snail, and cracks its shell!
The snail becomes enraged at you, and gets ready to attack you!
Gordanlaf says, ‘Thanks for taking care of our gastropod problem!’
Gordanlaf says, ‘You can return to me when you are ready.’
** Task Added : Return to Gordanlaf.
** Task Done : A Slimy Dilemma!
Return to the requestor.
After completing this part simply go to the rooms where you get the tasks – now you can access the rooms above them.
Go there and kill the guardians there.
Mattheddy falls dead as his mind is destroyed!!
Mattheddy asks, “You fool! Why did you believe Galkorum?”
Mattheddy says, “I hope you are able to live with the consequences of what you did.”
** Task Done : Weaken the Barrier by Killing Mattheddy.
Rainrnes is completely traumatized and falls to the floor gasping! He is DEAD!
Rainrnes asks, “You fool! Why did you believe Galkorum?”
Rainrnes says, “I hope you are able to live with the consequences of what you did.”
** Task Done : Weaken the Barrier by Killing Rainrnes.
Saxia asks, “You fool! Why did you believe Galkorum?”
Saxia says, “I hope you are able to live with the consequences of what you did.”
** Task Done : Weaken the Barrier by Killing Saxia.
Pricephire falls dead as his mind is destroyed!!
Pricephire asks, “You fool! Why did you believe Galkorum?”
Pricephire says, “I hope you are able to live with the consequences of what you did.”
** Task Done : Weaken the Barrier by Killing Pricephire.
Bloodied and dying, Pricephire takes a painful breath, and speaks.
Pricephire exclaims, “You fool! Everything that Galkorum told you was a lie!”
Pricephire exclaims, “There never was any treasure because we used all the energy from the objects to create a prison strong enough to hold the creatures in the lower part of the prison!”
Pricephire sighs.
Galkorum says,’Lies!! Don’t listen to what he says!’
Pricephire says, “Long ago, when the planet was a lot younger, beings of immense power roamed, causing untold destruction and chaos.”
Pricephire says, “After a long, bitter war, most of them were destroyed, and the ones left alive were imprisoned below the keep.”
Pricephire says, “Years ago, one of our guardians became corrupted by listening to those evil beings, and stole the gems that were used to power the energy field that surrounds that prison. He then gave the gems to those evil creatures! Since then we have been using objects of power, as well as our own life energy to keep them imprisoned.”
Pricephire says, “Galkorum is one of the lesser beings that escaped and has been trying to get them released since the gems were stolen.”
Pricephire exclaims, “That energy field has been weakening, and now that you have killed all of us, those beings will soon be free to lay waste to Andolor!”
Pricephire sighs.
Pricephire exclaims, “The only way to prevent this catastrophe is to go down into the lower part of the prison and retrieve the stolen gems. Once you have them all, you must insert them back into the correct obelisks so that the field that prevents them from escaping can be restored!”
Pricephire says, “Are you willing to do this for me? It will not be easy, but it is the only way to prevent them from destroying Andolor.”
Pricephire says, “If you are willing to do this, then say to any of the guardians that you are willing to help.”
** Task Added : The Keeper’s Request.
Say: ‘I am willing to help’ next to the keeprs (like Greenmoreno)
ou say ‘i am willing to help’
Greenmoreno demands, “You killed Pricephire and the other keepers and you expect me to help you??”
Greenmoreno sneers in disgust at you!
Greenmoreno sighs.
Greenmoreno says, “Well, I guess that I can give you the information you need because the last keeper that died believed in you enough to tell you what really happened.”
Greenmoreno asks, “Besides, it’s not like we have any choice now, do we?”
Greenmoreno says, “The only way to get to the lower part of the prison is to tell any of the guardians that you want to go to the dungeon.”
Greenmoreno says, “If you do that, then we will send you to there, but you need to be careful because the beings there are the embodiment of evil, and they will not easily part with their gems.”
Greenmoreno says, “The names of the beings are Grindyrgan, Saunderampa, Antiper, and Neyryan.”
Greenmoreno says, “Before you will be able to enter the cells containing those creatures, you will first have to get past Asherodan, the being that the keep was named after. He has committed his entire existence to keeping them in the cells and he alone has the key to the cells.”
** Task Added : The Guardian’s Tale.
** Task Hint : Your ‘tasks’ list has been updated with a new hint.
Now, simply say:
You say ‘i want to go to the dungeon’
Greenmoreno says, “I hope you know what you are doing, because what you are going to face down there is the stuff of nightmares.”
Greenmoreno convulses as he shudders in disgust.
Greenmoreno says, “I wish you the best of luck with your task..”
Greenmoreno says, “And I sincerely hope that the next time we see you isn’t when we have to clean up after what they leave behind.”
Kill Asherodan to get keys:
Asherodan asks, “So you have decided to go against Galkorum and help restore the obelisks to their former state?”
Asherodan says, “This poses a conundrum to me, because others before you have claimed the same thing, and were actually just trying to help them escape from their cells.”
Asherodan says, “When those traitors in the past have come to me, I usually just let them in because I know that the creatures in these cells will kill them before they get a chance to do anything.”
Asherodan chuckles politely.
Asherodan says, “And after all, we do need to feed them something to sustain them.”
Asherodan says, “I can see that your intent is to help the keep and keep these beings imprisoned here, so all you will need to do is defeat me in order to get the key to open the cells.”
Asherodan says, “If you have lost your key, then return here and I will give you another one.”
Deep magic stirs within your weapon. It seems to have a life of its own.
Your Dagger of Aardwolf glows brightly and almost decapitates Asherodan.
Finish him off!
[1] You damage Asherodan! [4313] Asherodan is DEAD!!
Asherodan says, “Well done, you have defeated me, and are ready to defeat the creatures within these cells.”
Asherodan says, “After this you can return to me to get another one.”
** Task Hint : Your ‘tasks’ list has been updated with a new hint.
** Task Done : Get the Key From Asherodan.
Kill mobs in rooms N W S and E to get gems:
You get tanzanite from the traumatized corpse of Neyryan.
You get realgar from the traumatized corpse of Antiper.
You get moonstone from the traumatized corpse of Saunderampa.
You get a peridot gem from the traumatized corpse of Grindyrgran.
Enter portal in Central Chamber.
Go back to the obelisks and “put gem obelisk”
Red obelisk: put realgar obelisk
White obelisk: put moonstone obelisk
Green obelisk: put peridot obelisk
Blue obelisk: put tanzanite obelisk
As you insert the tanzanite into the obelisk, the obelisk’s aura increases,
and the dome between the obelisks grows stronger!
Galkorum says, ‘I will find and destroy you!’
** Task Done : Get the Gem From Neyryan and Place It in the Obelisk.
As you insert the last gem into the obelisks, they all glow brighter!
Galkorum exclaims, ‘You fool, did you actually think that would stop me??’
But then the ground trembles as Galkorum forces his way into the keep!
Galkorum exclaims, ‘While you were being a traitor and preparing to energize
the obelisk, I was able to drain enough energy from them to get past the wards
around the keep!’
Galkorum exclaims, ‘And now that I am here, I will destroy these obelisks myself!’
** Task Added : Kill Galkorum Before He Destroys the Obelisks!
** Task Done : The Guardian’s Tale.
Now the last part – Kill Galkorum.
As Galkorum dies, the concentrated energy that he stole from the
obelisks forms an orb which then moves from his corpse to
your inventory!
** Task Done : Kill Galkorum Before He Destroys the Obelisks!
** Goal Completed: Free the prisoners of the Asherodan.
INFO: Player has restored the obelisks and kept the beings imprisoned in the keep from destroying Andolor!
Reward – cexits:
Galkorum exclaims, “I will never forget that you ruined my plans!”
Galkorum says, “However, I will send you farther into the keep in the hope that you will cause more chaos there.”
Galkorum says, “You can say ‘Garden’ to go there, ‘Third’ to go to the third floor, or ‘Prison’ to go to the prison.”
The poor man’s portals
Sunday, 15 November 2020 by Zensch
In this guide I present a way of faster movement between areas.
The most convenient and effective way to travel is by the use of portals. They are usually given by completing goals/area quests, killing some mobs or buying them via auctions. Not every area has a corresponding portal though. An option is to buy a trivia portal (15 tp – help trivia portal), but the cost is very prohibitive.
Another way for speeding up exploration is by using special exits: clan exits. For example, from Boot room “On the roof” there are easy transfers to areas like Kul Tiras or House of Cards.
Finally, the main point of this guide is to use above methods to find better speedwalks than running from Aylor recall.
Some examples:
To get to Kobold siege you would need to travel 2-3 continents and it would take a very long time. Instead, you can use you portal to Planes, go to Swordbreakers Hoard and from there run 2w6ne.
Another example is Weather Observatory – instead running from the recall you can use Aardwolf Amulet to run ~30 rooms (instead of ~90).
They are not the most optimal/the best routes to areas, use them as a reference only.
There are many others consecrations that would affect this list, like tier of the player or owned portals. Some links between areas, like the one between Aardington Estate and Hedgehogs Paradise, are also not included, because they are situational.
Usage:
I use Kobold Siege mentioned above. Open the file and find a row for Kobold Siege area (row 124)
80 100 Stutz Xadyen Kobold Siege Camp Hoard → 2w6ne
“Hoard” is in blue because this area requires using another portal/speedwalk and then to run 2w6ne.
Row 46 for Hoard shows:
5 50 Aardwolf Commun Swordbreaker’s Hoard Planes → 9e → enter pool
Hoard
Again we have to use another portal/speedwalk shown in blue + run 9e + type “enter pool”. “Hoard” is in red here because this defines speedwalk name for this area.
To find out speedwalk for planes we simply find this row (109):
60 100 50 Valkur The Upper Planes Planes
Here we have only “Planes” in red – this indicate portal – Amulet of the Planes in this case.
*** BONUS for Mudlet users ***
Here are some examples how I have set above aliases:
1) Alias for portals
Name: The Grand City of Aylor
Pattern: ^aylor$
send("take 'garbage can' \"" ..portalbag.. "\"")
send("wear 'garbage can'")
send("enter")
send("remove 'garbage can'")
send("put 'garbage can' \"" ..portalbag.. "\"")
“portalbag” is my variable used for Aardbag, you should replace it with the keywords with your bag or if you keep portals in the inventory use this code:
send("wear 'garbage can'")
send("enter")
send("remove 'garbage can'")
2) Alias for speedwalk
Name: The Darkside of the Fractured
Pattern: ^darkside$
expandAlias("fractu")
send("run 2n")
send("enter jet")
send("n")
