The Tairayden tribe has taken many hostages, and are demanding a large ransom
for their release. One of the hostages has another plan, but it is a risky
one. Your adventure will include killing many of the Tairayden tribe members,
searching for the keys that bind the hostages, releasing them, and more. The
hostage with the ideas for release is offering a nice reward. That is, if you
are able to free every single hostage that is being held.

Please have a seat on my rock and I will tell you the tale of the kingdom
of Ahner.”
The kingdom storyteller grabs you firmly by the shoulder and forcibly seats you.
You sit on a huge rock.
You now being seated, the storyteller clears his throat with a hearty cough and begins his tale..
The kingdom storyteller says, “King Ahner and Queen Felicity were kind and
considerate leaders, loved and adored by their loyal followers. However,
not all of their followers showed that loyalty and adoration. A young
upstart, by the name of Cyrus Dirroh, longed for the hand of their
daughter, maiden Morganna.”
The storyteller pauses briefly, inhaling the air, before continuing.
The kingdom storyteller says, “Cyrus knew he would never be able to wed
Morganna, the daughter of his political enemy the king. Desperate in love,
he sought for a solution to his dilemma.”
His expression dour, he goes on with his tale.
The kingdom storyteller says, “The King’s brother, filled with greed and
lust for his kinsman’s power, struck a bargain with the love-struck Cyrus
one fateful night. ‘If I were king, Cyrus, you could have whatever you
wanted!’ he said. And so they began plotting the downfall of the crown.”
The kingdom storyteller says, “In time, Cyrus persuaded the dissident
soldiers of the Kingdom to take his side when the crown would eventually
fall. He promised them riches beyond their wildest dreams, and they
eagerly accepted; unknowing that they were chosen not for their strength,
but their idiocy.”
The kingdom storyteller says, “And, on that fateful night, Cyrus and his
army of Dullurds – that dim lot – struck. Even as King Ahner and Queen
Felicity were being led to the dungeons, Ahner’s brother was being crowned
king. The loyal knights of the crown, the Oreh, were cast out of the
castle, forced into exile.”
The kingdom storyteller says, “As for Cyrus? Well, he still pines for the
hand of fair Morganna, for the new king has no intent of keeping his
word.”
The storyteller pauses here to take a deep breath.
The kingdom storyteller says, “Alas, the story is far from finished. You
see, as the power in Ahner changed hands, the neighboring kingdoms of
Nilbog and Gorlab saw an opportunity to topple the staggering kingdom and
take it as their own.”
The kingdom storyteller says, “Even now, their armies reside in their
warcamps on either side of the castle, waiting for confrontation or a sign
of weakness. Neither side cares who strikes first, so long as they’re
standing victorious when the dust settles.”
The storyteller takes a seat beside you on the rock and sighs.
The kingdom storyteller says, “Those loyal to King Ahner wait for the Oreh
to reclaim the throne and defeat the evil that has taken over our lands.
We look to one man, a brave knight.”
At last, you feel the story coming to its conclusion.
The kingdom storyteller says, “His name is Michael the Hare, a brave
leader in the Oreh army. We all pray for his eventual success.”
The storyteller stands and takes a few steps, turning back to you.
The kingdom storyteller says, “If you wish to aid the family Ahner, seek
Michael the Hare. He is looking for strong warriors to set things right.
If not, I’m sure you’ll find the Dullurd easily enough.”

He pauses, clearly deep in thought, before letting out an exasperated sigh.
Michael the Hare says, “Sadly, I need all the help I can get. We are in
trouble, and we cannot fight this battle much longer. Our resources have
been depleted greatly. Fighting the Gorlab and the Nilbog armies, and
trying to rid our kingdom of Cyrus and his dullurds…”
Michael stops and takes a deep breath.
Michael the Hare says, “Very well, if you wish to help us you will be
working alone, for I cannot give you any assistance. Should the terms
agree with you, give me a nod.”

Michael’s spirits seem to lift and a faint smile spreads on his face.
Michael the Hare exclaims, “Alright then, let’s rid Ahner of its
enemies!”
Michael the Hare says, “First up are the Nilbog. They are located in the
forest to the northwest of us, before the castle. They are led by a fierce
warrior, Correa. I need you to cut down their ranks and defeat their
leader.”
He turns to you, a worried look on his face.
Michael the Hare says, “All I have sent after Correa have not returned; I
know they are dead. The Nilbogs are a barbaric and bloodthirsty people
with no patience for diplomacy. Do not try to dissuade them with words,
lest I need to mourn the loss of another soldier.”
As you turn to leave, Michael quickly steps in front of you.
Michael the Hare says, “One of my finest men died in an assault on the
Nilbog camp, and that wretched beast Correa now wields his sword. Bring me
back my friend’s heirloom as proof of your victory in the Nilbog camps.”

A look of fond remembrance settles on his face as he looks the sword over.
Michael the Hare says, “His son will be able to take his place one day,

Clearing his throat, he turns to his desk, then back to you.
Michael the Hare says, “To business! With the Nilbog deterred for the time
being, we can focus now on the Gorlab..”
Michael turns away from you and towards his desk. Quickly, he begins to
sift through the various documents, until he grabs one that catches his
attention. Turning back towards you, though with his gaze still locked
onto the document, Michael briefly scans the information. A few seconds
later, he sets the parchment back down onto the desk and shifts his gaze
to you.
Michael the Hare says, “A Gorlab warrior is a worthy foe. Their physical
prowess manifested in strength and speed makes them fierce opponents even
in the absence of considerable cunning. They overwhelm their opponents
with numbers and raw, brute strength.”
Michael the Hare says, “Their leader, Andres, unlike the rest of his
countrymen, has some wit to him. A veteran to war, Andres turns the
already formidable Gorlab force into a nigh unstoppable juggernaut of
destruction.”
Michael the Hare says, “As with the Nilbog before them, I am counting on
you to cut down the Gorlab numbers substantially. Andres must too be
slain, or the loss of troops will mean nothing. He wears a special suit of
armor, bring that back as proof of our victory.”

blacksmith. I need you to go to him and collect the information he has

He leads you to a small room in the back of the shop.
Workshop
This is definitely the room of a tinkerer. Odds and ends line the
shelves; tools, spare parts, and scrap material ready for use. This is
where the local people bring their broken items to be salvaged, or traded
for new.
(W) The tinker master is repairing some armor.
An Oreh spy arrives from the west.
An Oreh spy says, “I have it all written down here.”
An Oreh spy says, “Give this to Michael. He needs to know about it
immediately. There have been some recent revelations concerning the Nilbog
armies.”
The spy reaches into a drawer, withdraws a scroll, then hands it to you.
You receive the spy’s report from An Oreh spy.
Castle Forge
Intense heat assaults you as you enter the smithy, making sweat pop out
on your skin. Roaring flames crackle in tune with the pounding of the
blacksmith’s hammer, and the odor of heated metal fills your nostrils in an
almost stinging sensation. Ingots of cold iron are neatly stacked in one
corner for easy access. To the east you see a small tinker shop in a back
room of the forge.
A huge man hammers out a piece of iron.
An Oreh spy arrives from the east.
An Oreh spy exclaims, “I am terribly sorry, but we just cannot fill that
order. Best of luck to you!”

Michael thanks you heartily as he unravels the scroll and examines the contents.
Halfway down, his face goes pale and his eyes widen.
Michael the Hare says, “It is as I feared. The Nilbog have called upon
another general to aide Correa’s contigent.”
Michael the Hare says, “Matteo is a cunning warrior; strong and
intelligent, ruthless and fearsome. Matteo being here can only mean one
thing…”
Michael the Hare says, “Matteo is their greatest military strategist.
Until this intel, we believed him to be committed to the war on their
western front. Now, with him here, the Nilbog must be planning a
full-scale assault to end this stalemate.”
His eyes shift back to the parchment, reading some more information.
He turns his focus back on you, a worried expression on his features.
Michael the Hare exclaims, “The armies are met on the Fields of Death. The
death toll is already high. Go quickly, and rid us of Matteo, that we
might survive long enough to restore Ahner to the throne! Bring me his
shield as proof of your conquest!”

blood of his enemies. His bloodlust gaze falls upon you, and a sneer
crosses his face.

to me. A simple peon, unworthy of the glory that it is to die by my
hands.”
Matteo says, “But, you have that foolish look in your eye as if you wished
to challenge me. Prove yourself: Lay waste to everyone here. Nilbog, Oreh,
Dullurd and Gorlab alike; defeat them all and then we shall do battle.”

castle of their presence.”
Michael the Hare exclaims, “Go on ahead and take care of the Dullurd
forces inside the castle and courtyards. Clear the way, so that I can make
my way to Cyrus and confront him once and for all. When they’re all dead,
meet me before the throne. It’s time to end this tyrannical hell he’s
brought upon our kingdom once and for all!”

heavy golden doors leading to the king’s audience chamber. One might
hesitate before daring to venture further; no doubt anybody entering such a
central part of the castle will garner attention.
(R) Cyrus sits quietly pondering his next move.
Cyrus diverts his gaze from Michael to you as you enter the room.
Cyrus Dirroh asks, “This must be the one who has been causing me so many
problems. Is this your underling, Michael?”
Michael scoffs at Cyrus.
Michael the Hare says, “It’s over, Cyrus. We have defeated your soldiers
and laid waste to the enemies outside the castle walls. Correa, Andres,
even the great general Matteo himself – they all have fallen before the
might of Dabbil. You stand little chance.”
Cyrus regards you silently before drawing his blade.
Cyrus Dirroh exclaims, “Over? This is far from over, Michael. Your
underling here has only smoothed the road to my kingly ascension! Then I
can finally marry Morganna!”
You slowly float to the ground.
Michael the Hare exclaims, “Morganna?! Marry someone like you? She wants
nothing to do with you!”

Thrusting his blade in and out of Cyrus’ chest, the body falls to the floor.
He kneels down and wipes the blood from his blade onto the corpse.
Michael the Hare says, “We’re not done yet. Up ahead lies the Dullurd
King, fratricidal brother of the true King. He must answer for his
crimes.”

The first thing you notice is a gigantic throne in the center of the
room. Lush velvet drapes surround the room and silk pillows are spread
around on the gleaming wooden floor. Candlelight sparkles brightly from the
sconces set high on the walls. The far wall holds a large crest of King
Ahner and you wonder why King Dullurd has yet to remove this most obvious
reminder of his predecessor.
(R)(W) King Dullurd is pacing back and forth across the room.
Rage in his eyes, Michael charges the king, sword in hand!
Michael the Hare exclaims, “Your treason shall be punished! The lives of
our rulers shall be avenged!”
King Dullurd raises his hands and cries for mercy.
King Dullurd exclaims, “Wait, you’ve got it wrong, the King and Queen
still live!”
Michael pauses, steps short of the throne.
Michael the Hare asks, “They live? I do not trust your lying lips. Where
are they?”
The terrified despot squeaks desperately.
King Dullurd exclaims, “They are being held in the dungeons with the
Butcher watching over them! He holds the key to their cells. I swear
it!!”
Michael nods slowly, disbelief and slight relief on his face.
Michael the Hare says, “I don’t trust a word this snake says, I’ll wait
here and make sure he doesn’t move. If they are still alive, I fear for
the safety of our King and Queen in the hands of the detestable Butcher.
Make haste, friend, and bring them to me if they yet live.”

King Ahner says, “Wait a second, Michael. There is something I must
say.”
The King smiles. Even in this distressed state, he looks royal and gallant.
King Ahner asks, “What is this brave soul’s name?”
Michael the Hare says, “This valiant warrior’s name is Dabbil, your
highness.”
King Ahner says, “Dabbil, I cannot thank you enough for all you’ve done.
I-”
The King stops, then coughs, clutching his chest.
Felicity runs to his side and wraps her arms around his shoulders.
She says to him, “Darling, you need rest.” She turns towards you and smiles.
Queen Felicity says, “Brave Dabbil, I thank you too. Your generosity will
not go unnoticed. Michael here shall reward you. But, please excuse us, we
must rest.”
Felicity leads her tired king away, leaving you alone with Michael and the Dullurd once-king.
Michael the Hare says, “Dabbil, you have done more than I could ever have
dreamed for me and this kingdom. I feel like I cannot repay you enough for
your heroism. Thank you for all you’ve done. Take this as a token of
rememberance, I hope it proves useful. Don’t worry about Dullurd, I’ll
make sure he’s well taken care of.”

For centuries the Dra’ork have tried to create the perfect element by
harnessing the mayhem and destructive powers of the elements, however,
they have failed. The Loud’ra on the other hand have tried to create
the perfect element by peacefully using the elements in harmony. Yet,
they too, have failed. Even the Master of the Elements can’t seem to
get it right. Maybe if someone was able to learn each technique and
combine them, the perfect element could at last be created.
Finally! Someone who has made the perfect element and understands the
importance of balance. If you haven’t figured it out yet, the Dra’ork
have a secret passageway at Yver’s room. Just ‘pull book’ to access it
and return back to the valley. The Loud’ra have a painting of Loud’ra
himself right before Lord Zhein. Just ‘move painting’ and you will
access another secret passageway that leads back into the valley. Now
that you have mastered the elements, see what you can create with them!

Task 1 : Make the perfect element.
Complete tasks 2-5. You should now have a Master Element, Dra’ork’s perfect element, and Loud’ra’s perfect element. Go to the Master of Element’s Workshop and combine elements. This completes the goal.
Task 2 : Help the Loud’ra make the perfect element.
To get to Loud’ra Keep from the area entrance: run 2e2n;open u; run 2u; harmony
Buy 4 test tubes from the supply distributor in the storage room. The samples are collected by killing any mob in the appropriate section while holding an empty test tube in your inv. It may take several attempts to successfully collect a sample.
From the entrance:
Water – run 2e; open down; d
Fire – any flame in the 3×3 starting section will do
Air – run e2n; jump (must be flying)
Earth – run n; open w; w
When you have all 4 samples, return to Loud’ra Keep and go to Danskel’s room. Give a test tube to Danskel and they will all be removed from your inventory in exchange for peace in a tube.
Repeat to collect another set of samples. Give a tube to Warhina in Loud’ra Keep to receive harmony in a tube.
Go to Zhein’s Laboratory to complete the task. You will receive Loud’ra’s perfect element.
Task 3 : Help the Dra’ork make the perfect element.
To get to Dra’ork Keep from the entrance run 2n;open u;run 2u;mayhem
This task is identical to task 2, except you give one set of samples to Yver in exchange for destruction in a tube and the other set of samples to Poldra for mayhem in a tube. Take these to Tiasi’s study to recieve the perfect element of Dra’ork.
Task 4 : Find the Master Elementalist.
Note that the perfect elements are nosave; if you log off before this step you will need to collect the samples again. You need both perfect elements in your inventory to proceed.
From the entrance, run en; open u; u; open s; s to find the Master Elementalist.
Task 5 : Help the Master of the Elements make the master element.
Guess what! He wants you to collect four samples! Who’d have guessed? Buy 4 more tubes from either keep, gather the samples, return to the Master Elementalist and give him a tube. You will receive The Master Element.
Now complete Task 1. Go to the Master of Element’s Workshop and combine elements. This completes the goal.

Beyond the decimation of the Nenukon, you will find the encampments of the
Far Country Tribes. There, tribesmen plot to overcome the evil that pervades
the Nenukon. Prove yourself to the Hooded Exile and become a proud Warrior of
Far Country. As a Warrior, you will be able to reach your own tribe’s encampment
easily, bypassing the dangers of the Nenukon.
Say your tribe name to the Hooded Exile, and he might transport you
to your camp. But there’s also a chance he’ll send you directly
into the Nenukon!

This goal will be much easier for players who can hunt thier way through the maze. Most rooms past the entrance are norecall/noportal. Hunt Exile will get you 1 room away the entrance. You *can* portal/recall from the campfire section. Hunt master, 2.master, etc.. to get to the campsite.
You may want to bring mana and refresh pots as some rooms are negative regen.
Task 1 : Challenge the Masters of Battle and win!
The Masters are near the room, “A Campsite”. Kill them. Return to the Exile and say “another challenge”.
Task 2 : Hunt down and kill at least five greater demons.w
The demons are strewn throughout the area. If you can, hunt them down 1 by 1. Otherwise just move around randomly until you’ve killed 5. Return to the Exile.
Task 3 : Find Monuhi and vanquish him.
Make sure you have a portal before starting this quest. Hunt the eagle champion to get to the Pit of Monuhi. Kill him to get transported Inside the Tomb of Monuhi. You can portal from this room. Run n and kill Monuhi. Make sure to get the heart from the corpse. Run s, portal out, then return to the Exile and give him the heart.
Task 4 : Understand how to be a warrior-poet.
Find the Naga Warlord and say “warrior poet”.
Find the Naga Champion and say “eternity”.
Find the Naga Paladin and say “honor”.
Find Bastion and say “beauty”, say “honor”, say “eternity”.
Task 5 : Restore your honor in the Far Country.
Return to the Exile and bow Exile.
Task 6 : Join a tribe of the Far Country.
Automatically completes when task 5 is done.
